Josh Jones

Head Strength & Conditioning Coach

Josh Jones is the Associate Strength Coach at The Performance Lab. He started his educational career at Abilene High where he played football for the number one team in the nation. He was also a part of the team that won the State Championship title in 2009.During high school he also got invited to the State Championship Powerlifting Meet freshman through junior year. The United States Marine Corp. presented Josh with the Honor, Courage and Commitment Award in the 2010 football season. During his junior year is where he met his high school sweetheart and now wife, Samantha. They have been married two years and plan to make Abilene their life long home. After high school graduation Josh continued his education and stayed local at McMurry University.He graduated with a major in Sociology and a minor in Kinesiology. While attending college he played Division II football as middle linebacker where he was a team captain. His senior year he went on to pursue further dreams towards the NFL where he came into contact with Bennie Wylie. Both Bennie and Caleb Withrow were Joshs strength coaches while training for the next level of football. During this time he developed his love for strength and conditioning and started to work towards learning more about it. He interned for Bennie for a period time and eventually worked his way and got hired on to work along side them.
